Job Description: The DevOps Engineer position within the IT Operations department is primarily responsible for designing, managing and automating critical IT configuration, change and release processes to enable IT to move as required towards continuous solutions delivery and integration. The successful DevOps Engineer is proficient in agile development methodologies, SAFe, Configuration Management, Cloud service technologies, IT process automation best practices, continuous integration concepts and methodologies, and familiar with a wide variety of current and evolving toolsets. This is a critical role that requires a high degree of technical mastery to ensure the quality of our customer experience. The DevOps Engineer has responsibility for design and execution tasks necessary to support the success of IT continuous integration solutions that scale up and down to meet targeted business needs and capabilities. The I DevOps Engineer is responsible for implementing and supporting release, configuration and change processes and automation tools critical to current and future state technology and business architectures. The DevOps Engineer ensures all software development, testing and staging environments are controlled, managed and available for all internal and external solution delivery teams and supports the effective and automated transition of critical software and hardware configuration changes into the production environment. Finally, the DevOps Engineer is responsible for facilitating collaboration in a fast paced, DevOps oriented environment while working independently with a high level of self-motivation.

Job Description:

*Manage pre-production environment configurations and automated deployments
*Migrate legacy applications and process to new automated model
*Ensure Pre-production environments are synchronized with production
*Provide IT operations and Development with stable preproduction environments with the right level of control, visibility and agility.
*Evaluate and provide direction regarding current and proposed architecture and technical best practices
*Automate existing manual processes (Both technical and process)
*Create and execute technical operations strategy, enabling CFA to meet world-class ecommerce customer experience demands
*Establish team goals and metrics for systems stability and performance, and establish SLAs
*Configure and monitor systems for development, test, Stage and production
*Manage vendor relationships and expectations (ALM Tools)
*Monitor and tune systems stability, capacity and performance
*Troubleshoot system issues as necessary
*Provide approaches, manage toolsets and be able to implement configuration management best practices
*Actively participate in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations
*Help solve business needs with technology by evaluating different technology options and vendor products
*System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains - will be expected to participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot customer facing issues
