||Our client is offering an outstanding opportunity for a talented Jr. Systems Administrator who will be responsible for assisting to grow the Company's IT department. We are looking for a hardworking, engaged, friendly, energetic person who is a self-starter and has a positive attitude. This person will be working on site but also responsible for IT in a secondary location as well as assisting outside sales reps.
1) 3+ years of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 R2 experience
2) Strong active directory and exchange 2010
3) Experience with virtual server, either Hyper-V or VMware
Required Education and Experience
*Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience and a Certification level operating in a mission critical environment.
*Candidate will be skilled in the implementation, configuring, and supporting TCP/IP networks.
*Candidate must demonstrate his/her expertise with Windows Server 2008/2012 and have a thorough understanding of Hyper-V technologies.
*Help desk/troubleshooting support to on-site and off-site internal customers.
*Physical maintenance of IT infrastructures
*Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
*Maintain system efficiency.
*Ensure system design allows all components to work properly together.
*Make recommendations for future upgrades.
*Maintain network and system security.
*Analyze and isolate issues.
*Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
*Evaluate and modify system's performance.
*Identify user needs.
*Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
*Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
*Perform network address assignment.
*Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
*Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
*Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
*Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
*Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
