||The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing daily support of multiple product families with specific regard to product quality, product cost, process development and process improvements, safety, and project management activities in procurement of new packaging machinery, and development of packaging validation documentations.
•Team with manufacturing and quality personnel on a daily basis to review / disposition production defects and provide potential process and/or equipment corrective actions to assure production schedules and quality expectations are met.
•Provide daily production support to set up, trouble shoot, repair, and monitor manufacturing assembly, packaging & vacuum drying related processes & equipment.
•Review manufacturing equipment and processes for improvement potential using statistical data and analysis of equipment condition then effectively manage change projects.
•Lead Packaging improvement projects related to existing manufacturing processes.
•Prepare packaging validation protocols and reports to support implementation of new equipment.
Education Required: BS / BA Engineering or Equivalent with Package Engineering Experience
•MS Engineering or MBA
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years Applicable Experience
•Knowledge of Project Management Tools (MS Project, Gantt, and Capital Budget Attainment)
•Knowledge of Minitab (Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control)
•Working knowledge of product development and operations processes
•Working knowledge of DOE, SPC, Validation, DFMEA, PFMEA
