Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of new and existing software applications.
• Support Site Intelligence software development initiatives.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Provide post implementation support of existing applications.
• Create documentation of project functionality.
• Participate and/or be responsible for the roll out and on time delivery of developed applications.
• Acquire and maintain advanced understanding of the business processes that are supported by the software for which you are responsible.
• Develop/maintain programs that store and retrieve data and involve complex screens, interfaces, tables, input/output and reporting.
• Project management and reporting.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal and external customers, IT members, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.


Education And Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing applications using Java, JSP, and J2EE.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
• Strong SQL knowledge and a minimum of 2 years of SQL experience.
• Experience with Linux server using an Apache Tomcat web server.
• .NET experience is a plus.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience in working within teams to design new products, rewrite legacy programs, and maintain current applications throughout the development process.
• Strong coding and design and architecture skills in Object-Oriented Programming.
• Proven track record developing commercial products in an Agile development environment.
• Must work well in a small development group and collaborate and work well with other departments including Product Management and SQA.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Proficiency with PCs to include knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), maintaining data bases, generating information and tracking status using proprietary software.
• Ability to produce detailed reports, particularly in Excel.
• Ability to build effective relationships.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to client and internal problems and challenges.
