Job Description:
Essential experience:

• Must have worked in SharePoint based projects in the past with a role as Business Analyst.
• A good understanding of what SharePoint can do OOTB (meaning with no customization, just adding web parts, columns, views, 3rd party web parts or apps, etc) and should have ability to correlate to customer requirements.
• At least some understanding of when custom code is needed.
• The ability to create Visio diagrams/charts, functional & design documents, understand or create Test Scripts.
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies.


Position Functions:

• At least 8 years of experience working in SharePoint based projects, Content Management, including expertise in enterprise projects.
• Business Analyst needs to work with Scrum Master and Implementation team to help them clearly understand requirements through Business Case, Use Case, Flow Diagram, Process Flows and Constraints.
• The Business Analyst will work as a liaison between stakeholders to elicit and document stakeholder requirements, and then translating them into solution requirement. The BA should have experience of working in SharePoint projects.
• The candidate is expected to play the following roles and responsibilities
• Work with the business (Product Owner) to define what they need (liaison between development team and MTB team to understand and validate project requirements)
• Capture requirements, create story boards (define functional requirements in detail for developers) and mockups
• Map those requirements onto the SharePoint feature set.
• Work with Implementation team to create solutions and creates story boards.
• Ability to keep scope under control (i.e. at times will be required to be a BA/PM)
• Support the project implementation team during design, construction, facilitate requirements briefing discussions and support testing activities.
• Work with the technical team to convey what needs to be built and where SharePoint customizations is required.
• Perform smoke test and confirm implementation team has delivered as per the requirements.
• Demonstrate the progress back to the business.
