Job Description: Outstanding opportunity for a SharePoint Architect-Administrator to Architect and manage multiple on-premise, and cloud-based, SharePoint environments. The position will contribute to defining, planning and implementing the client*s SharePoint and overall collaboration strategy and architecture for the enterprise. The position will be responsible for on-going administration of existing SharePoint environments, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, deployments, and end-user support. Will craft and propose policies, best practice standards and long term strategies for leveraging SharePoint technologies to improve organizational communication, collaboration and operation. Detailed responsibilities include: Day-to-day administration of existing SharePoint environments, including maintenance, on-call support, monitoring and performance-optimization activities. Specific areas of focus include User-Profile and Search service applications; work closely with various IT groups such as enterprise security, architecture, and infrastructure governance to ensure the SharePoint strategy and architecture aligns to corporate goals and objectives; effectively communicate complex concepts and information to senior management; provide SharePoint end-user support (scripting, coding, and development as well as respond to end user questions & issues.); provide leadership and guidance on planning, architecting and implementing one or more SharePoint 2013 environments. (cloud ,on premise farms, and hybrid.); create and evolve best practices, standards and guidelines for the architecting, management, and utilization of SharePoint solutions; design, implement and support SharePoint solutions that meet functional, capacity, and security requirements; assist in evaluation of SharePoint-related solutions, including custom and 3rd party applications; and perform feasibility analysis and estimations for SharePoint-related initiatives.

Position requires 8 years of related experience in the areas of infrastructure, middleware, and application development with 3+ years of experience as a Sharepoint Administrator, Developer and/or Architect. Should possess extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013, and SharePoint Online. Experience designing and implementing architecture roadmaps a must. The ability to manage a complex, multi-farm SharePoint environment and scope, design and implement SharePoint solutions required. Solid technical aptitude, leadership and mentoring skills along with strong analytical skills a must. Experience optimizing SharePoint for mobile platforms would be a plus. MCTS or MCITP certification for SharePoint technologies preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science or related.
