Job Description: The IT Project manager reports to the PMO Lead for Info Security and is responsible for managing a group of projects within the portfolio of Information Security investment to ensure deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations (primarily measured by advancing client’s security maturity and/or minimizing risk to client overall). This position is responsible for indirect management of resources from various groups that span the organization; including development, architecture, infrastructure, and shared services. The IT Project manager will manage projects per defined IT processes (to include waterfall, agile, spiral, infrastructure deployment, etc.) as required. Success is measured via pre-defined metrics aligned to CMM and ITIL best practices as defined by the Organizational Standard Processes. This position is also directly responsible for providing program status reports and roadmaps to the PMO Lead for Info Security, with visibility to the Chief Information Security Officer, CIO and IT Leadership Team (ITLT).

Key Areas of Responsibility: Oversee the execution of the portfolio of programs driven by the IT Security organization in partnership across client business divisions while ensuring the realization of benefits within the scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of IT security application and infrastructure projects and the matrixed supporting project teams. The project teams are composed of globally distributed technical and business team members including both internal and vendor resources to deliver solutions and services to clients.

• Experience providing leadership and guidance to project team members, while working in a global matrix-managed team environment
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in the execution of large, complex and concurrent IT programs/projects
• Strong understanding of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing set of projects
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree program
• Solid understanding and knowledge in one or more of these concepts and technologies: Telecommunication, Storage, Servers, IT Security, Virtualization, Desktops, Active Directory, data centers migrations and upgrades
• Identify and effectively resolve issues and conflicts within and among project team members.
• Experience conducting regularly scheduled project status and issue reviews.
• Ensure appropriate business and IT resources are engaged and committed during the project life cycle.
• Experience in the coordination of IT demand requests from client’s Physical Security and Legal organization as part of CISO IT Partner role for these organizations.
• Partnership with Division CISO organizations in the execution of corporate security initiatives.
• Possess a functional understanding of the PMI / PMBOK methodology (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Procurement)
• Strong understanding of MS Project / MS Visio
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
• Six Sigma Methodology Experience (Green or Black Belt level) preferred
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred
• Ability to weigh business risks and enforce appropriate information security measures
