Job Description: Technical requirements:

• 8+ years of experience on Oracle Administration (preferably OCP).
• Installing oracle server and client software, creating, upgrading.
• Experience in Oracle 9i, 10g & 11g & 12C Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.
• Patching databases in UNIX (Solaris,AIX & HP-UX), Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in Upgrade and Migration of oracle database
• Experience in data gathering and requirement analysis for any project
• Performance Tuning of Oracle databases
• Experience in working with Tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager's (OEM's), SQL analyzer, Statspack, AWR and TOAD, BMC Patrol
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Planning, scheduling and taking Oracle backups.
• Hands on experience in database backups and Recovery
• Experience in RMAN, Export/Import, Cold, Hot backups & DR solutions.
• Successfully implemented physical standby database using Oracle Data
• Guard feature for High availability configuration.
• Installation, Configuration and deployment of Oracle databases
• Handson experience on Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Capacity management
• Knowledge on Oracle database security
• Responsible for identification and mitigation of risks and vulnerabilities
• Prepare disaster recovery (DR) plan and demonstrate successful functioning of DR
• Should be able to work in 24*7

• Lead & participate in outage calls
• Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
• Participate in daily/ weekly/ monthly/ customer / internal meeting and provide activities report.
• Follow Compliance and Regulation policy of TCS and Customer
• Understand the SLA and ensure the SLAs are met as per the TCS agreement with customer
• Keep the Inventory up to date for global locations.
• Work with offshore team and ensure customer deliverables are delivered on time.
• Complete the work assigned from supervisor.
