Job Description: Responsibilities
Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an IT Project Manager to provide project management for the Vulnerability Function, MSC Implementation, ATR Outage, IT Procurement, and Export Compliance. This will be a project hire position lasting 1 to 2.5 years for the project.

The IT Project Manager will work with other organizations and project managers in executing work using established methods and techniques and will support the set of project management standards and best practices.

Leads and participates with multidisciplinary teams on Information Management projects in support of laboratory functions and business processes. Creates and communicates work plans, leads the development of system architecture and design; responsible for project documentation, including requirements, design, testing, and all artifacts involved in the IT project life-cycle. Leads peer reviews of requirements, design, testing, and documentation. Leads, mentors, and directs the work of other project managers.

-Interacts with network of technical resources in and outside the directorate. Mentors and supports peers and junior staff in project management growth. Enhances professional skills of junior staff through active mentoring and training.

-Effective team builder at project and/or organizational level. Participates in professional activities and/or external collaborations. Influences project and program strategies and directions.

Develop project plans with appropriate level of detail for project scope and risk. Track and execute project plans from start to completion, modify schedule or plans as required and communicate impact to relevant stakeholders. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment.

Coordinate with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to ensure the development of quality assurance test plans and the execution of quality assurance testing.

Coordinate with Organizational Change Management (OCM) to socialize project deliverables.

Facilitates discussions and builds consensus among various project stakeholders such as business analysts, technical implementers, functional end users, and project sponsors.

Qualifications
Must have a technical BS degree and at least 7 years' experience or an Advanced degree and at least 5 years of experience.

Experience being a Project Manager of IT Programs is required.

Demonstrated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) experience is required.

PMP, CSM, or equivalent preferred.
