Job Description: Experience & Responsibilities:

• Current Project Management Professional Certification.
• Knowledge of project portfolio management tool ChangePoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience working with enterprise information technology projects for at least one of the following areas: fraud, identity management, enterprise service bus (ESB), and/or data warehouse. See additional requirements in Appendix
• Full-time, on-site resource will provide the oversight and direction necessary to establish and execute a fully functional PCO, manage staff and ongoing daily operations.
• Oversee large programs of work that involve multiple individual projects. Sort and prioritize grouped projects that are similar in nature. Manages and oversees large, long range, or multiple complex projects.
• Ensure overarching governance is established and followed throughout the organization.
• Establishes and monitors program or project priorities, objectives, and procedures, determining area objectives, targets of service, and resource needs allocation. Responsible for performing schedule, scope and technical control tasks.
• Works closely with cross functional team members, including, but not limited to, Project Manager(s), business owners, technical owners, vendor partners, in support of the State goals to meet the timely delivery of quality information technology services for all stakeholders.
• Coordinate projects that are running simultaneously or sequentially to ensure collaboration and communication between project functions.
• Provides leadership and direction to the project team to ensure successful project completion. Performs training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer as assigned. Serve as an escalation point for staff when assistance is needed.
• Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and program management techniques.
• Provides recommendations for improvement of program management processes currently in use.
• Create and use tools to monitor and report on schedule progress, resource utilization, issue resolution/escalation, and process adherence. Gather and report on Project Team performance and compliance.
• Develops and maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work, including forming meeting agendas and transcribing meeting minutes, as required.
