Job Description: • Familiarity with CMDB tools and agentless discovery.
• Service Now administration experience required. SME level.
• Excellent communications, presentation, listening and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Patience, tolerance and resilience with an ability to drive designated priorities.
• Ability to multi-task and work with management to prioritize tasks.
• Good troubleshooting skills with the ability to assist in determining root cause of problems, offer recommendations or suggestions for a quick, but effective, resolution.
• Demonstrate strong confidence in abilities and knowledge.
• Ability to work well in crisis situations.
• Flexibility to provide off-hours and weekend support for maintenance, testing and general on-call support.
• Demonstrate strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Expert level experience with industry-standard Systems Management tools.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Web Services and XML knowledge required.
• Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• ITSM or ITIL certification preferred.
• Strong technical experience at least two of the following areas with strong emphasis on VMware and RDBMS:
• VMware Systems Administrator.
• Experience with Active Directory (Single Sign-on Federation Services and Organizational Units).
• RDBMS Administrator (i.e. DB2, SQL server, etc).
• Network experience (telephony, servers).
• Experience with phases of discovery, orchestration, asset management.
• Unix and/or Windows Administrator.
• Basic network experience with TCP/IP and SNMP required.
• Intermediate experience with actual user experience measurement tools desirable.
• Intermediate experience providing Service Level Agreement (SLA) reports to internal or external customers.
• Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture experience is a plus.
• 3-5 years equivalent work experience minimum.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Service Now in a complex multi-vendor environment.
• Service Now Administrator certification required.
• ITIL Foundations v3 certification required.
• ITIL Service Operations certification desired.
