Job Description: A-Tech Corporation, d.b.a. Applied Technology Associates (ATA), is a privately-held, Hispanic-owned small business founded in 1975 and headquartered in Albuquerque, NM, just outside the gates of Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). ATA also has operations in Huntsville, Alabama and Chantilly, Virginia. ATA is an advanced technology and products company that delivers space, airborne, and ground-based systems to government, aerospace, and commercial customers for imaging, high energy laser, and laser communications applications. We specialize in inertial navigation, Acquisition, Tracking, and Pointing (ATP), precision pointing, line-of-sight stabilization, and real-time software and controls products and systems. ATA also offers cost-effective specialized integration and testing capabilities, and owns and operates joint ventures that provide low-cost engineering services to the aerospace industry. Job Description:
The engineer will serve as a software integration engineer in support to an Air Force Research Laboratory contract. The engineer will be an integral member of a joint Government and contractor team that operates in a very dynamic environment with in the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Domain. The engineer’s duties will include integrating a wide range of data at various classification levels across multiple software testbeds at various stages of maturity. Secondarily, the engineer may be required to assist on other tasks as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent in relevant Engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering preferred) from an accredited four-year university
Minimum of 5 years Software Integration experience with an emphasis on building, integrating, testing and installing software
Current TS/SCI clearance or adjudication within the last 2 years
Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse technical teams.
Ability to maintain accurate and complete project documentation.
Experience preparing and executing integration test procedures and supporting integration into a larger customer system architecture.
Experience working within a collaborative, distributed, team environment.
Ability to contribute to the development of new processes.
Experience ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
Experience independently troubleshooting software and hardware issues to resolution
Java/JEE development skills
Experience in object-oriented analysis and design techniques
Knowledge of Web Services
Experience working with relational databases and SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Knowledge of network and application security
Experience leading a engineering team
Require minimum oversight to accomplish directed tasks

Desired:
Masters in Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
Experience performing systems integration engineering in support of DoD Aerospaceprograms is preferred
Experience with large integration projects is highly desired
Experience in business development and creating new program opportunities with new and existing customers
Demonstrated leadership experience
