Job Description:
• Bachelors and 6+ years IT knowledge and demonstrated hands-on experience and/or training in systems design, engineering and administration (or equivalent combination of education and experience such as no degree and 10 years)

• Excellent technical skills:
• Expert level knowledge in supporting integrated Mac and Windows platforms in an enterprise environment with JAMF Casper and SCCM

• Strong knowledge of self-service software deployment process leveraging JAMF and SCCM

• Expert level in Apple Operating System (Mac OS & iOS)

• Expert level in Mac client virtualization for Windows OS (Bootcamp, Parallel and VMWare Fusion)

• Strong knowledge of Apple’s Device Enrollment (DEP), Enterprise Mobility Management ((EMM) such as AirWatch, XenMobile, Intune), application and security management.

• Experience with implementation of user self-service for application, OS, updating, imaging, and maintenance

• Support and administration with Adobe Creative Suit products

• AppleScript and Bash Shell languages

• MAC interoperability with Windows centric enterprise, AD, LDAP and Kerberos

• Best security practices, implementations, and troubleshooting including 2 factor authentication, virus Identification/removal, and disk encryption

• Knowledge of client and server environments, printing, firewall, and routing technologies

• Industry standard networking technologies (LAN/WAN, SMTP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)

• Office O365 (Skype for Business, OneDrive, OneNote)

• Knowledge of Virtualization, Citrix, SAN technologies

• McAfee endpoint protection

• Architecture and Solution Design

• Familiarity with design technologies in the Enterprise Environment for Apple Mac and Windows Operating System platform and hardware:

• Windows & Mac OSX including integration and builds,

• In-depth and broad knowledge in troubleshooting regarding Apple OS X and Windows base operating systems. Proficiency in resolving compatibility problems between new versions of the operating system and/or software applications

• Business savvy: able to pick-up on and understand interests, perspectives and organizational priorities of different stakeholders, identify and manage interpersonal dynamics and gracefully navigate these complexities to create discussions that matter

• Skills of effective oral and written communication with ability to communicate technical information to audiences without technical knowledge

• Able to work under pressure and in an environment of rapid response

• Strong knowledge of design and apparel industry and the product lifecycle a plus

• Requires at least 5+ years supporting integrated Mac and Windows platform (solution proposal, integration, troubleshooting, support, repair and security)

• Apple Certified in ACTC, ACSA, ACMA, ACMT is preferred

• Certified JAMF Casper Administrator is preferred

• Oversee all aspects of the Elevated Design Group infrastructure environment, operational support, and management of the technology and end user computing platform. Must also include a strong working knowledge of Windows desktops and integrating platforms within an enterprise environment.

• Participate in the requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, operation and maintenance of technologies supporting the design group

• Provide creative solutions for problems that arise in the day-to-day workflow

• Present technical solutions to architecture, peers and the business stakeholders

• Desktop hardening through security best practices and penetration testing

• Compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment

• Complete hardware and software builds, installs, changes, and configurations. Analyze, tune, and troubleshoot operating system to achieve optimum performance levels.

• Integration/binding of Mac OS systems with directory services (LDAP/Active Directory) and group policy management

• Documentation of system architecture and management within standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Draw up detailed technology solution proposal plan for each of the phases of the work ahead – user needs assessment, pilot planning and implementation, full roll-out planning and implementation as well as the on-going beyond the project phase.

• Understand current company processes relating to computer architecture, procurement, user support and project management and integrate all efforts to be compatible with established procedures.

• Work with company Designers and Business Stakeholders to drive development of new processes and procedures to support company Elevated Design initiative.

• Assist with development of Elevated Technical support model and process to enhance the current support for company Designers

• Execute the user needs assessment, identifying areas of highest need for each of the brand in terms of hardware, software and support and prioritizing procurement accordingly

• Maintaining the Elevated Design Group computer inventory for roll over, upgrades, spares, loaners, reclaims, etc.

• Guide GBT and the company’s Designer community in the installation and use of strategic products through education and guidance, first-use, and tuning assistance problem solving and critical situation resolution.

• Create clear self-help documents for the end users and document systems infrastructure for support staff. Thoroughly document routine and non-routine issues for other subject matter experts to address the issue expeditiously

• Provide user training in form of written guides and FAQs

• Enforce Information Security & GBT Policies
