Job Description: • Review profiling results to identify a set of prioritized Critical Data Elements.
• Must have experience using IBM Information Analyzer or Global IDs.
• Good to have ETL/Data Warehouse knowledge like Abinitio or DataStage.
• Review Data Quality requirements to help build valid and appropriate Data Quality rules to do assessment of current Data Quality.
• Work with Global Banking/Global Finance Data Quality teams to implement the Data Management Guide as it relates to establishing a Data Quality assessment project•
• Support IT to onboard Global Banking/Global Finance Data Quality teams into the identified Data Quality measurement tools (i.e. Information Analyzer, Abinitio, Global Ids, etc.).
• Provide sound advice on developing credible DQ requirements based on the Group approach and to determine meaningful thresholds based on regulatory or strategic initiatives.
• Review the DQ metrics results and work with owners to enhance business and DQ rules where necessary.
• Assist on-boarding of DQ metrics results into the Group Repository for reporting and consumption into the Data Quality Issues Management escalation and governance process.
• Facilitate owners to determine impactful threshold based on regulatory or strategic initiatives.
• Work with other areas of the Data Management Office for a holistic approach to managing DQ
• Facilitate additional Data Quality reporting of issues and metrics to comply with regulatory and strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience.
• Experience working as a data analyst for a business, financial/risk modeler, statistician, econometrician or similar business analytics background.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Services (Banking, Wealth Management, and Capital Markets) business processes and resultant information needs: client, risk / regulatory / finance
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to work across organizations.
• Excellent written communications skills – ability to clearly document the current state and recommendations.
• Demonstrate solid business / data analysis skills to a very high standard with the ability to analyze varying data states to understand the relationship and determine commonality / differences.
