Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Network Administrator. This person will be focused on network monitoring in a Cisco environment during the 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm). This is an excellent opportunity to kick start your career in Network Engineering while gaining hands on experience with firewalls, routing and switching.

The Network Administrator will handle O&M support and basic network administrator functions within the customer environment. Will be responsible for supporting the operational integrity of the environment (Tier 2/3 support).

Work Locations:
? Initial 3 months will include On the Job Training during core business hours (9:00am – 5:00pm) at a metro accessible location in downtown DC
? Remainder of the time will be at Quantico VA providing 2nd Shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) Network Administration support.


Required Skills:
? 2 years of Network Administration experience.
? Strong understanding of routing, switching, and firewall skills
? Mature troubleshooting ability
?Strong communication skills
? Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:
? CCNA
? BS or equivalent
