Sprint Planning and Sprint management (usually each sprint duration is 2 weeks).
Define scope of the sprint and create sprint tasks accordingly.
Prioritize the tasks into critical, high, medium and low so that the most important work is taken up first.
All the sprint management is done using Atlassian JIRA.
Understand the requirements provided by Business and Create Epics by breaking down the requirements.
Epics should have detailed description in business terms (no technical terms).
The Epics should further have Stories and Sub tasks.
The Stories and Sub tasks can have detailed description in technical terms.
Epics can span over multiple Sprints. But the Stories and Sub tasks should be planned within a Sprint.
Manage the backlogs and assign to future sprints.
Daily stand-up/scrum meeting through screen share will be there with entire team spread across geography (Boston (USA), Jersey City (USA), Krakow (Poland))
Understand and try to resolve any blockers faced by the team.
Follow up with entire team towards end of Sprint to ensure all the tasks are getting resolved within the Sprint.
Conduct retrospective at the end of Sprint (Should be able to suggest any tools from previous experience to conduct retrospective)
Provide Burn down charts, Velocity charts etc, at the end of Sprint (using Atlassian JIRA) to the management.
Should have thorough knowledge of Atlassian JIRA concepts such as Sprint, Kanban, Epic, Version, Story, Tasks etc.
Should be able to create Dashboards, Sprint boards, Kanban boards in Atlassian JIRA as and when required.
Help improve/fine tune the existing process to adhere to best Agile practices.
Can evaluate and suggest any new tools to improve the process.
