||Programmer is responsible for developing software based on a defined set of design and performance requirements following the organization's development process. Programmer may be called upon to partner with the customer in the development of requirements and must ensure that their developed software meets or exceeds requirements. Programmer may be part of a development team or be the sole programmer on a task.
The candidate must be able to maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry and possess a willingness to learn new languages or database technologies as required for the position.

The purpose of this effort is to provide the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G6 Information Technology and Software Development Center with IT support services and technical expertise in a wide range of disciplines including systems analysis, systems design, systems development, application/systems administration, programming, software development, IT operations, configuration management, quality assurance, and communications.
