Job Description: Rockit® Solutions is a leading outsourced data aggregation and reporting solution for single-family and multifamily offices, investment advisors, trust companies and other institutions. Our solution suite includes: Data Aggregation, Reconciliation & Data Enrichment,Portfolio Accounting, Principal & Income/Trust Accounting, Investment & Performance Reporting, and Partnership Accounting & Tax Services. We are currently looking for a Data Import Technician to join our Data Integration Team to perform a variety of tasks relating to daily gathering of custodian data files, normalizing the data and loading it into Rockit® Command. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and responding to inquiries regarding reconciliation issues from other departments as well as clients. This individual will work closely with other internal departments, external vendors, and clients. This a full time position, Monday through Friday, from 7:30am till 4pm.

Additional Responsibilities:
· Downloading data files through various portals
· Using MS Access databases to normalize data files
· Loading normalized files into Rockit® Command
· Addressing and resolving breaks in import files
· Initiating the processing of remittance feeds with custodian banks
· Reconciliation of clearance(DDA) accounts
· Producing daily/weekly/monthly reports
· Monitoring/Sending the custodian/vendor feeds
· Creating MS Access databases for new data providers
· Troubleshooting MS Access databases/programs
· Innovation of improved technology enabled processes

Skills & Knowledge:
· BA/BS required. Degree in finance, accounting, economics or statistics strongly preferred.
· Computer skills are required
· Strong communication, analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
· Familiarity with basic investment instruments: equities, mutual funds, fixed income, cash equivalents. Exposure to global (multi-currency) data is required
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
· Creative thinker, solution generator
· Accurate and timely follow up and responsiveness
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with database systems (i.e. SQL, MS Access)
