Job Description: Roles & Responsibilities:

•Opportunity for a senior-level Infrastructure Engineer and Manager who will be responsible for a suite of hardware comprising of LINUX, Oracle Enterprise Linux and Windows (Limited) operating systems. The infrastructure will consist of Virtualized systems and bare metal servers, and are required to support a variety of projects which range from development environments to high availability environments. A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines is required, however 5-10 years of work experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. Mandatory qualifications include system administration and configuration experience in LINUX, VMWARE, RHEV, Enterprise Identity Management (LDAP, IPA, etc.), and a background with Kickstart and Puppet configurations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is necessary. Individuals must be able to plan and propose infrastructure upgrades, acquisitions and configuration changes and communicate with a variety of hardware and software vendors to receive quotes and resolve infrastructure challenges. System coordination, application and network administration along with support in the development and integration environments is a plus. Individual must provide hands-on support, maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of 50 or more servers in a thin client environment and contain the ability to effectively communicate within a multi-contractor development and management team. Experience with constructing and configuration of data Cloud environments using Map Reduce/Hadoop and/or Government software such as Ghostmachine, Accumulo, Chef/Puppet is advantageous along with knowledge in VM lifecycle management. Practice in system configuration with SANs and system administration in Windows and/or SOLARIS is beneficial. ICD 503 or DCID 6/3 familiarity is desired along with experience in preparing and presenting technical information in the form of PowerPoint briefings and white papers. Candidates must be US citizens are required to possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance and have the ability to pass a CI polygraph.
