Overview:

Directs and coordinates development and production activities of computerized management information systems department by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors


Responsibilities:

Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.
Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.
Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.
Installing, configuring and monitoring computer hardware, software, systems, servers, printers and scanners
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrade
Managing Active directory: Set up and manage user accounts, permissions and passwords
Administrating users in Microsoft Office 365: create and manage user email accounts in Office 365
Installing, configuring and managing LAN & WAN networks
Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
Research and make recommendations on server system administration
Help-Desk operationsHands on experience in networking, routing and switching
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
Ability to set up and configure server hardware
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 5 years’ of professional experience
High level of technical background
Willingness to travel (25%)
ERP project experience / SAP Experience
