Key Aspects of the Quantitative Developer:

Project Details: As part of the model performance team, you will develop technology solutions in a variety of areas within the departments. Also, you will be implementing solutions applying both qualitative and quantitative aspects of financial math and risk management
Length & Location: Contract Role for 6 months. NYC
Salary Range: Negotiable

Overview of the Quantitative Developer:
Our client is looking for a Quantitative Developer to develop and monitor tech solutions for the organization. This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for the monitoring and review processes to assess, model accuracy and the overall performance of the platform. Backtesting is a core element of the monitoring framework.

Responsibilities of the Quantitative Developer:
Develop tech solutions in various areas
Implement solutions applying both quant and qualitative aspects of financial math
Gain and enhance in-depth experience of implementing modeling tech while monitoring performance
Execute backtesting for existing and any additional models
Work hand in hand with the quantitative analysts to understand requirements and communicate progress/results

Requirements of the Quantitative Developer:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, mathematics, stats, or related field
Minimum 5 years or experience working on large scale Java projects with a team.
Minimum 5 years or experience and expertise in core Java, Spring-framework, SQL.
Experience on Python programming, or willing to pick up quickly on job
Prior experience of implementing model backtesting framework.
Monte Carlo Simulation experience
