Internet Explorer Successor is unveiled by Microsoft

Microsoft has unveiled its latest web browser, Edge and this browser will with time replace the earlier one that is the Internet Explorer. Edge was kept under secrecy and the project was named ‘Project Spartan’. The officials from Microsoft said that this new browser is lighter and mush more quicker than the Internet Explorer. It also has many more new features such as a built-in notation tool, a distraction free reading mode, website information from Cortana and a personal voice assistant app for Windows.
At Build 2015, a conference of developers, Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice President, operating systems group at Microsoft said that the Microsoft Edge is the browser made for the Windows 10 and this one will be made available for the greatest range of Windows 10 devices.
Belfiore also said that the name Edge signifies the idea of being on the edge of consuming and creating. The browser has in-built Cortana and because of this it comes to know about and also assists one in getting things done.
The company is extremely positive about its chances to assist people in discovering and connecting with work that people do on the web and in apps.
But this browser will be available only on Windows 10 and further.
