Amazon.com has plans to create more job openings by announcing a new technology hub to be built in Detroit. The Cobo Center has witnessed this announcement promising fresh tech openings to be created on a full-time basis.
All Detroit Public Schools that are pursuing the program from Carver STEM Academy are likely to gain 30 Amazon Fire Tablets and donations worth $10,000 from Amazon. Courses constituting the Arts, technology, engineering, mathematics and science have been included in a curriculum, which is to be followed by students of the Academy that are pursuing the eighth grade or below.
Amazon also has plans to extend their presence over Michigan and create more high-tech job openings in Detroit. With the technology corridor of Michigan growing rapidly, Amazon is inviting quality regional talent to be a part of its extended workforce.
