Open-source experts are now in demand with Microsoft

The open-source community has mostly been criticized by Microsoft for years. Steve Ballmer, the former CEO of Microsoft had once described Linux as “cancer”. Patent violations were the primary cause of concern for Microsoft as the company spent much of its efforts in defaming this open-source software.
Microsoft’s softened view on this platform has even been acknowledged by Satya Nadella, the CEO. Platforms like Azure have to be turned compatible with open-source platforms at a time when Microsoft can’t turn Windows open-source at this point. Linux runs on a good number of Azure-based virtual machines.
In order to cope with the demand of a global market, open-source experts are now being hired by Microsoft under multiple job categories.
