A few years from now, some of the technologies that are currently in use may turn obsolete. Apps that aren’t so popular today might just get restricted to a particular industry or fade away within a few years time. It doesn’t seem wise for a tech pro to predict the success or failure of any programming language or app for the future years.
It seems quite foolish to think of the long-term performance of certain technologies right now.
Based on jobs that have either been lost or created recently, the BLS depicts the fate of some tech professions for another 10 years.
While the Database Administrators are likely to experience an increase of 11 percent, the software developers and web developers are likely to see increases of 27 percent and 17 percent respectively. In comparison, the network architects and system administrators are looking forward to increases worth 9 percent and 8 percent respectively.
Chances are there that a 12 percent growth may be witnessed by tech pros involved in IT and associated computer occupations. According to the BLS estimates, some 488,500 fresh opportunities are to be created during the next 10 years. This is likely to raise the 3.9 million job opportunities to more than 4.3 million by the end of 2024.
