Testers are now able to gain a detailed insight on this roadmap as they obtain the initial BizTalk Server 2016 preview. Microsoft is all set to announce the preview on March 30, 2016.
The latest release of the BizTalk Server might just throw light upon certain areas that haven’t been highlighted before. According to this Community Technology Preview, testers are likely to find support for SQL Server 2016 and Windows Server 2016, since these software platforms are still being previewed.
In comparison with SQL Server 2016, which is set to be released for manufacturing, Windows Server 2016 is likely to be released in Q3, 2016. Both of Visual Studio 2015 and Office 2016 are even getting adequate support from BizTalk Server 2016. This release is bound to ensure full production support for the BizTalk Server Azure virtual machines. Testers will also witness extensive support for the SHA-2 functions.
